About Packed Journal
Travel planning, minus the stress
Packed Journal is an independent travel site. We help you choose where to go, plan what to wear, pack the right bag and keep your hair looking good on the road.

Why we started
One place for the whole trip
Planning a trip usually means a dozen open tabs: one for the destination, one for the weather, a few for outfit ideas and a note on your phone that just says “chargers??”.
Packed Journal brings those pieces together. Our guides follow the order you actually plan a trip. First you pick the place, then you plan the outfits, pack the bag and sort out the small details that make travel days easier.
Everything is written in plain language, with lists and checklists you can scan on your phone. That works whether you are booking months ahead or packing the night before.

How we work
What you can expect from us
Useful first
Every guide starts with the questions people ask before a trip. If a section does not help you plan, it does not make the cut.
Outfits you can actually pack
Our style ideas use a small number of pieces that mix and match, suit the weather and fit in one bag.
Honest recommendations
Some links on the site earn us a small commission. That never decides what we recommend, and we always tell you. Our disclaimer explains how it works.
Kept up to date
Prices, rules and opening hours change. We update guides when things change and point you to official sources for anything time-sensitive.
